Friday 55 - "Little Timmy"

Little Timmy awoke to a tapping on the window.
A red faced, creepy man was grinning and offering him a donut.

Timmy was hungry and really wanted the chocolate treat.
He caustiously lowered the car window just enough to let the donut slip through.

It fell to the floorboard.
The man laughed and turned away!


This story was inspired by a true story from a friend of mine. We were reliving our creepy moments from the past!

A sign on the toll booth read....NO PENNIES

Hilary asked "What's a penny"?

"Oh, I replied...it's like a pence"!

That's how it started. A friendship that spanned a decade.

Today, I weep for you my friend...as I continue to find pennies in odd places.

Today March 19th, 2010 is the 1 year anniversary of my friend Hilarys passing. She lived in London and despite our distance we shared a strong bond. I miss my ole, dear friend...

My 4 visits to see her across the pond were some of my best memories. I still keep in touch with her sister and nieces. If you have any friends you haven't spoken with in a long time give them a call and just say "hi" I miss you...

Flash Friday 55 - "A change for Mrs. Tidwell"

Mrs. Tidwell sipped her Irish Breakfast tea and took her last bite of buttered toast.

As she gazed out her kitchen window, she noticed the birds chirping; the buds on the trees...
How fast Winter had slipped by her!

Work, home and sleep was all she knew.

Something inside of her longed for a change.

I am a killer.

My ancestors were killers.



I was taken away from freedom

at an early age.



No wonder, I hold all this rage.



I'm in captivity...I want to swim free.



These beings watching over me, have no clue what I can do...
