OK, so this is not the perfect close-up picture of a bird eating suet...but, it sure is a nice close-up of a Screen!

This was taken at my moms house, in PA, looking out her living room window in 2007.

FLASH 55 FICTION FRIDAY "Unwanted"

This "55" is a reflection of a local news report from Maryland.
Two fishermen found a newborn baby in a garbage bag in the lake they were fishing on.
Police have no clues ...
"UNWANTED"
She stole the instrument from the school lab. She was only fourteen years old.
Her family would never allow it. How could she raise an unwanted child?
If she could not have it, no one will. She was selfish...
This was the perfect spot.

Gazing at the horizon, she flung the bag into the lake.

Rest In Peace, little unwanted soul...

Macro Monday #3 Bird Nest

When visiting my brother-in-law a few weeks ago, I checked out my favorite birdhouse and noticed this lovely nest inside.

To my surprise there was another resident who took up squatters rights within this wooden house.

I was so happy that they were not at home!

FLASH 55 FICTION FRIDAY - Mrs. Tidwell & Friend

Mrs. Tidwell enjoyed the lunch with her friend.
They talked about old times and people who had passed on.
Each one asked the question in their own minds...
"Will I outlive her?"
They talked about each others' aches and pains.
Each one trying to outdue the other one.
Mrs. Tidwell wondered if she should tell...

Nothing says "transparent" more than a stained glass window.
Wish I could have afforded one of these beauties. This picture was taken at a festival in West Virginia.

Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow

I just wanted to post some pics to show that we actually got some snow...finally!
I'm happy as a clam...and now I can welcome in Spring without remorse!

This is looking across the street at my neighbors funky yellow house! You should see the color of my neighbors next door. Either I'm in Bermuda, Mexico or there was a sale on funky color paint at Lowes/Home Depot!

My lovely little table and chair set were not spared the white covering...don't worry trusty shovel is standing guard!

Ok, my BIG, BAD puppy, I will let you in after I take one more shot, now come on, give me a big doggy grin!
Enjoy your week everyone...I'm home enjoying another day of freedom!
