Mrs. Tidwell was in a cheery mood, which was not always the case.

Today she was putting up decorations for the holiday.

As she searched in the box, she discovered the ring.

It was given to her by Simon, her first love.

He never returned from the War.

Mrs. Tidwell knew this would be a special holiday!

Just a little celebration to say good riddance

Many friends will gather together to help Mary
ride the wave of freedom.

Freedom from any more emotional pain and strife.
The cackling hens offering advise and chocolate.

Secretly hoping Mary would put on some
more weight!

It took 14 months to get here, but was well
worth the struggle.

Every week night, sitting in the class, backs stiff, eyes dozing and
minds wandering...But certain words snapped them back to attention.

Here's to their better future...

They finally made it!!

It was time to go visit the Pumpkin Patch again,
but I didn't mind, because we would find some
large pumpkins and that meant PIE!

As my dad pulled the car out of the driveway
he informed us that this year we would wear
something special for our HUNT!
