FRIDAY FLASH 55 - "40 years"

Can it be 40 years since our rendevous? Why haven't you aged and why have I?

You are so ever faithful. Spinning around me; changing my moods; making me howl.
Making me fall in love; making me write poetry and song.

I want to leave this place and fly.

And land on your peaceful surface.

If you or anyone you know have posted a Friday Flash 55, Please come tell the G-Man!

What a wonderful idea - a tribute to an historical event 40 years ago in 55 words.

Loved it.

Yes, nice tie in! I remember the teacher bringing in a little black & white TV so we could watch the landing. I was in Germany, it was early in the morning there.

Wow, Lulda. It just seems like I blinked my eyes and the time slipped right by me. I was laying down in bed reading and glancing over at the TV that evening when they talked about the moon landing. I was quite proud of the event. Maybe in my next life, I'll visit. D
