Revisiting the city Dana grew up in caused her dismay.
Everything had changed. The whole waterfront was now developed
with new high rises and flashy storefronts.
Young people paraded around without a clue of the historical past
that haunted this place.
Dana was sad to give up the past...but hopeful to see this revision.

Ramblings of an artist...I want to call myself that, but I mostly feel that I am in a cocoon. Can I spread my wings and fly just once before I fall to ashes.

Flash Fiction Friday 55 - "In a Ditch"
"Help", she cried, in a whisper.
It was no use to waste any energy.
Night was falling fast and no one would see her now in this musty, leafy ditch.
She tried to move her legs,
but the lack of circulation made it impossible.
Luckily, she could lift up her head and move her fingers.
If you have your own 55 get out of the ditch and go tell the G-Man at Mr. Know-It-All.
