The Bird sat on the limb...pensively watching the movements below.
This time of the morning, only a few humans were up and about...
The Bird moved slightly as the wind picked up and the branches swayed in the breeze.
He decided to take off...fly only a few miles.
But not quite just yet!
If you have your own 55 fly on over to see the G-Man at Mr. Know-It-All and tweet tweet him your story.

very beautiful bird story.
another 55.
wow.
Thank you so much for visiting me. I really like visitors. Your bird story is very nice. You humans miss a lot by sleeping in so late. We have the roosters to wake us up early every morning.
What a surreal looking bird. They probably all like it better when we aren't around. Thanks for stopping by!
What a scrawny looking bird Lulda!
But you made it sound beautiful!
Loved your 55 My Dear
Thanks for playing, and have a Kick Ass Week-End....G
nice. i was reading about birds last night..watching them and what we can learn from them...
Is that your artwork? That's amazing. A whole new perspective on birds. I loved this 55 - I never thought about birds being procrastinators :)
Beautiful. I like looking through the bird's eyes.
I love birds, they are so delicate and yet so resilient.;))
xoxo
I often wonder what the birds get up to when they are up so early.
I love birds too...sorry, not my artwork! I wish...;)
I'd love to fly. But being human has it's perks. Like taking planes, tho the days of First Class upgrades are a thing of the past.
Still, your words are lovely, Lulda!
xo
