Birthday Oatmeal

Ok, this might not be a perfect idea of "edible" but, if your cholestrol is up and your blood pressure is up, this might be what you need.

I took this picture last year...my husband thought it was funny to put the candles on it for my birthday breakfast.

hahahaha, yeah, not the most appetizing sight for a birthday but laughter is at least good for the heart too. ;)

Start thinking about your 55 NOW!!!
That way you'll only be 6 hours late instead of 12...:P

Hey, look at it this way. The birthday oatmeal helps you have more birthdays.

Beats the alternative, right?

Very funny. Did you blow out your candles?

I like oatmeal for my weekday breakfast. Yum, with milk and Greek cherry preserves!

Did you hear me neigh when the picture opened up? Oats is for horses I keep telling my wife and the candles don't make it look or taste any better, in old days it was called mush.

LOL....I do this too, sans the birthday candles...but y'know? That oatmeal is a perfect food. It works!!!

I'm here to send my wishes to you, that you have a wonderful, peaceful Easter holiday. If you don't observe, have a great weekend!!

Your husband is extremely funny and creative! I'm a huge oatmeal fan - it gets me into the groove most mornings, and is a a welcome, comforting treat whenever I need a quick edible happy.

Great take on the theme!
