Now it's time to close up shop...put away the shorts and tee shirts.
No more cool drinks to enjoy by the poolside.No more smells of ocean air and suntan lotion.

Boy, ain't it the truth. In Portland we will have rain and a freezing level at 5,000 feet...Low enough to bring snow in our Cascade Mountain range. Guess it doesn't matter that I'm not ready.

I hate fall because it is the doorway to winter. So I feel with this great 55.

What a send off! But I love fall too. And winter. Heck, I love all the seasons.
Two more days of white shoes, then back in the box tucked away in a closet to wait upon another successful summer season.
Yes, good bye summer! Here it for sure feels like autumn already...
Sigh! Watching summer leave is almost as bad as saying goodbye to my son when he goes back to school after a visit. SIGH!

What a lovely Lulda Lament. We don't get much of a fall in South Florida, but I can enjoy it through you bloggers who are experiencing the change.

I can barely tell when one season ends and another begins. Humid lasts a long time in South Florida.
