FLASH 55 FICTION FRIDAY - "LUCKY"

He was late...the train left the station an hour ago.

Damn - this was the story of his life.

Always the last to find out the news.

Always last to get the girl...

He sat on the bench and dropped his bag onto the ground.

He noticed a crumpled lottery ticket.

A train whistle blew...

If you have a 55 to share stop by the G-Man and let him know at Mr. KnowItAll.

His life may not improve with the lottery ticket. You know..sudden wealth, money can't buy love, the best things in life are free, blah, blah..

but at least next time he gets dumped he can take a plane;)

With his luck, the crumbled lotto ticket was probably a no win. I never win.

If it's crumpled it's probably not a winner - but I hope it is! :)

Lulda - For second place in the caption contest, I have a prize to send you. You can use the email in my profile to make arrangements. My wife, pheromone girl, says this would be the best method of communication.
