was clean and safe.


Although, I never heard "I Love You", I know you do.


You had a hard childhood

and times

were tough.


I understand your fragility...

Flash Friday 55 - "Wedding Day Blues"

Mrs. Tidwell had no clue as to what she would wear to her nephews wedding.
She was old and cantankerous and really didn't want to be bothered by the whole affair.
She knew a promise made to her dying sister could not be broken.

Mrs. Tidwell peered inside the closet and didn't notice the smell of mothballs.

Flash Friday 55 - "Merde"

Marcel awoke with the sun shining in his eyes.
"Merde" he said, as he jumped up out of bed.

Over sleeping today was not a luxury he could afford.
Yvonne would be over at any minute.


Marcel scrambled to find a clean shirt to throw on his tired body.
"Merde", the future in-laws arrive today!

Flash Friday 55 - "The Nose Knows"

The weather is changing as I notice the fallen leaves.
I am relieved to see the temperture drop.

I rejoice in bringing out my favorite lap blankets.
Open windows, turn off air-conditioner and enjoy the breezes.

I settle onto my spot on the couch and
cover up with blankie.

Oh no...now it begins... SNEEZE!

Flash Friday 55 - "Circus Time"

A memory from my past - When I was a kid and went to the circus this clown "Emmett Kelly" was performing and he came and sat right next to me...but he just turned to the little girl next to me and didn't even give me a 2nd glance...I was very disappointed!

"Circus Time"

JoJo's memory of the circus was filled with joy and excitement.

He could almost smell the popcorn and cotton candy.

He remembered the thundering sounds of the elephants as they circled the ring.

As he wheeled himself up to the window, searching for the Big Top, he smiled and thought

about all those crazy clowns.
