Flash Fiction Friday 55 - "Risen"

"Risen"

The smell of incense burned her nostrils.

"He has risen from the dead", she heard the priest exclaim.

Surely, this was a sign of a new beginning, a new horizon.

Life would be easier now that her abusive husband had passed on...

certainly to the depths of HELL!

This Easter Sunday she has RISEN again!!
