This was taken at a restaurant in Helvetia, WV.

Love all the nostalgia of the pump organ and old timey photos. Great choice for the music theme.

Oh, I love your photo for Carmi's theme. I love music, but I haven't gotten a photo up.

I would never have thought this was in a restaurant, seems like someones home.;) Did anyone play on it or was it purely for decoration purpose only?;)

All I can see is an organist pumping madly to keep the bellows inflated while fingers run across the keyboard with hands pushing and pulling tone levers between notes...a harmonica is so much easier.

Great subject for this theme. It would be cool if someone had played it.. if they were good, that is. ;)

I really haven't thought about an organ being pumped, but thanks for the pic...:-)

photowannabe: thanks...I love the old time pics myself.

Beverly: Get er done! :) Thanks for stopping by.

Protege: This was actually a home converted into a restaurant. It was more like a Bed & Breakfast place. It was in a very small town in West VA. The ancestors from this community were from Sweden I believe...one of those diamonds in the rough! :)

the walking man: I agree...too much work! :D

Hilary: I would have loved to have heard it played...

G-Man: leave the pumpin to the experts. :D

BD: I would love to hear some of those organs being played. :)
