No this is not a Longhorn from Texas...but, from Virginia! Yes, I have seen more than one Longhorn farm down here in VA. My husband and I take many Sunday drives and we find great things just off the beaten path! I'm sure the giant bull head below is one of a kind...

well he's pretty no matter where. :) While living in Texas we bought some longhorns. :) They hang above my bed. Well one set does anyway. :)

I love the composition of this shot - and I would never have imagined this being taken anywhere BUT Texas, so I'm glad you shared the additional context.

There's nothing quite as humanly fulfilling as exploring the countryside with the folks who matter most.
